The Concrete Float Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) outlines the main hazards and risks associated with the handling and use of mechanical concrete floats (either electric or petrol powered). The SWMS provides details of the inspections to be carried out before a mechanical float is used and the safety precautions (including personal protective equipment requirements) to be observed when using concrete floats in a workplace.
